HAKUBA

First day of snowboarding was sunny and nice. Snow was still good, and we had some good runs.

Bianca and me

Shared a room with Bianca the first days. We know each other from Bergen and some of the other guys joining the trip.

SNOWBOARDING IN NAGANO

My first days in Tokyo was just about relaxing and eating some well missed good japanese food at my all favorite vegan joint at Tokyo Station. T’s Tan Tan Ramen.

Then I met up with the rest of the crew to take the Shinkansen to Nagano.

After about 4 hours of travelling, we finally arrived at Kodama Lodge in Hakuba, Nagano.

TOKYO BOUND

Finally made it back to Japan! First stop is Tokyo…

Even though I didn’t get much sleep on the plane, I managed to go and get some dinner with Trommas, a tattoo artist from Norway who also happened to be here…

Today’s breakfast was the legendary vegan ramen from Tan Tan at Tokyo Station:

HONG KONG part III

When in Hong Kong… try these waffles. You get them on every street corner.

This city is amazing. Exactly what I expected after hearing all the stories from my grandmother and my dad. He was born there and I always wanted to visit.

The city by night.

Thank you. I will be back next year🇭🇰

HONG KONG part III

There is one thing I like more than most things. Disney movies. And yes, we went to Disneyland.

I was probably more excited than any of the kids there.

And.. it was Halloween themed, so I was pretty happy with my day.

Can’t get enough of pumpkins…

We also took some rides, but the heat was unbearable at some points.

The highlight was the fireworks. Since we didn’t get a good view the day before in the city.. we were pretty excited for this one.

Magical…

Disneyland by night is a whole different world…

And again: beer and dim sum.

Definitely going back.

DISTANT BARRELS IN HAKUBA

Allready miss waking up to the best powder in the world…

It was dumping allmost everyday… beeing not used to these conditions, it took me a couple of days to keep up with the guys.

But everything helps with some yoga and matcha tea in the morning.

The crew: me, Basti, Tommy, Svein, JP, Romain, Neal and Jamie.

The last day was spent in Tokyo for my birthday. All I wanted was some sightseeing and a good dinner. We ended up with japanese barneque with a friend of the guys.

Japan has been absolutely amazing, and allthough is good to be back in Norway, I kinda miss the japanese living.

Saw some early Sakuras blooming. I thought I would have to come back in spring to see it…

Japan, I will see you next year for some more snow and good times. Can’t wait!

YES ON LIFE!
