WHY?

What is happening to the world. We are destroying our planet FAST by eating, killing, pollute, consume, and drown the ocean in plastic and toxics. 

 We are cutting down our forests, the healthy lungs of the planet to make space for more humans and fabrics. 

And now this;

 I woke up this morning with over fifty new text messages from friends in America that asked if they could come to Norway and live with me. 

The fact that one of the most ignorant and most dangerous men on earth just became the new president of the most powerful nation on the planet sickens me. When did the movie “Idiocracy” turn from a comedy to a documentary? When did we become so ignorant that we just gave up? 

I can’t blame all americans. But I will blame your schools, your education system, your health system, your politicians. I blame your leaders, your teachers and your lack of knowledge of anything that has nothing to do with your own personal interest. I have lived there. I have seen it with my own eyes; the racism, the huge gap between rich and poor, the school education that does not teach you anything else then “If you are not the best, you are not good enough”. I have seen people sew each other for no reasons at all. I have seen people argue with a gun in their hand.

Why is it so important for the world to idolize celebrities? What happened to follow and listen to people with education, informative speeches and facts? 

– I can understand why it happened. But I don’t understand HOW it could happen.
The only positive thing about this election is that I’ve seen so many young and smart people waking up. Not only in America, but all over the world. Young people getting into politics. Finding facts and educate themselves. I have seen them stand up for their own opinions and rights. And hopefully the next years will be the beginning of a new movement in the world.

I hope this is a wake up call, because it’s about to get very ugly. 

 The world is getting smaller, but the gap between educated and not educated is becoming bigger.
Ignorance is not bliss. It’s time to wake up. 

Let’s make a chance.
